Systemic racism has led to discrimination based solely on race and ethnicity. The BLM movement aims for non-violent civil disobedience in protests against police brutality. All lives will not matter until black lives matter.

The Black Lives Matter movement directly impacts the black community, specifically Afro-Americans, as these individuals have been facing injustices such as police brutality and systematic racism. Issues such as racism, police brutality, black immigration, access to healthcare and quality education, and voting rights are addressed through the BLM movement.
